Emergency Medical Services ( EMS) ***Dial 911***

Monroe Township provides Emergency Medical Services for residents and non-residents needing service in the unincorporated areas of the township through an agreement with the City of Tipp City. These services are provided on a fee basis and patients and/or their insurance provider will be billed according to the services provided.

Fire Protection ***Dial 911***

Monroe Township provides quality fire protection for all residents and property in the unincorporated township area through an agreement with the City of Tipp City. Property owners in the unincorporated areas of the township pay a one (1) mill voted tax. These funds pay for the contracted fire protection services and allow Monroe Township to purchase fire trucks and other equipment to be used in providing that service.

Law Enforcement ***Dial 911***

The Miami County Sheriff’s Department provides police protection for residents in the unincorporated Monroe Township. They apprehend and bring to justice all felons and disturbers of the peace in the unincorporated area of the township and county. They also execute all warrants, writs, and other legal processes throughout the county.
