Monroe Township has responsibility maintains 30 miles of township roadways including more than 17 miles of platted streets. During the winter months, the township also plows the snow on these roads.

Be A Good Citizen and Keep Your Ditches Clear!

The Monroe Township Maintenance Staff reminds Township residents to keep ditches clear at all times.

Ditches, whether located on private or township property, play an important part in drainage control.

Dumping is never permitted at any time! This includes leaves in the fall. The Ohio Revised Code prohibits dumping of any kind.

If you are responsible for clogging a ditch, and as a result damage is caused to property upstream, you could be liable.
