| Residents in the unincorporated areas of Monroe Township may contract with a private trash hauler of their choice for trash hauling and the curbside pick-up of their garbage and trash. A complete listing of trash haulers can be found in the Yellow Pages of the local telephone directory. |

PAY-AS-YOU-THROW TRASH DISPOSAL PROGRAM

| Miami County residents can purchase five
(5) 30-gallon blue bags (Pay-As-You-Throw) for $5.00.
These bags can be purchased either at the Sanitary Engineering
Building between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday
through Friday or at the Scale House during operating
hours. When full, the bags need to be dropped off (at
no charge) in a bin at the Miami County Recycling Center,
2200 North County Road 25-A in Troy. (This program is
a trash disposal program and not a recycle program.) |
