The Miami County Sanitary Engineering Department has a Yard Waste Management Program that accepts wood waste, brush, and tree clippings on a regular basis. The tipping fee is $51.50 per ton (2.5 cents per pound) or a minimum charge of $5.00 (200 pounds or less).

NO grass clippings or leaves are accepted and anyone found dumping this type of material will be asked to remove the volume of material or be subject to a fine for illegal dumping.

Several times a year, a contracted company brings in a grinder to reduce the volume of wood waste. A portion of this material is kept on site and readily available for the public to pick up at no charge.





The Miami Country Sanitary Engineering Department has a free holiday tree disposal program for residents. Trees are accepted after the holidays. Call for program dates.
